So IGTV has been out for a little while, but it is only taking steam in popularity as of late. So I’ve been looking in to it. People are wanting more of a Netflix style consumption model even on social media. Consumers want to be able to select to watch content of greater length than a story even on Instagram. IGTV is the new raw, real, reality “show” type content, on demand, 24/7, with new content emerging every minute. This is a place you want to be as a brand.

Yes, that mean developing more great content. But the brand awareness and relationship such content will build is paramount.

The good thing about IGTV is this. Consumers aren’t expecting hollywood, but they are expecting it to be decent quality, easy to consume, entertaining to watch, and impacting in some way.
